Why Olive Leaf Tea Is Part of My Daily Ritual

Throughout my day — before the emails and the day gathers speed, I put the kettle on for a cup of olive leaf tea.  Not because it’s trendy. Not because someone told me that I should.  Simply because it’s become one of those small daily rituals that makes me feel better.

The question I hear most is, “What does it taste like? Does it taste like olives?” Not at all.  To me, it’s rich, earthy and comforting — somewhere between a beautiful green tea and an herbal infusion.

I’ve always been a believer that our bodies tell us exactly what they need — if we slowed down to listen.  Some days I need a bit of extra energy;  and other days, it’s a deep need to "reset." Each one of our Steep Echo blends was created to support those specific moments, but it all starts with the foundation of my wellness ritual — the olive leaf.

So tomorrow morning, before the rush begins, put the kettle on. Find your favorite mug, Sit by a window for five quiet minutes.

While olive oil has become famous around the world, the leaves have quietly been treasured for centuries.  Even today, you’ll find bags of dried olives leaves lining the shelves of neighborhood pharmacies throughout France — a reminder that some traditions survive because they simply work.

I don’t drink olive leaf tea expecting miracles.  I drink it because small habits practiced consistently often have the greatest impact.  One quiet cup each morning feels like an investment in tomorrow’s health — and that’s exactly the kind of ritual I love.

Sometimes caring for yourself begins with something as simple as a leaf.
